WHAT BRINGS YOU HERE
What’s been
difficult lately?
Choose a topic to explore. More than one may matter, and you don’t need a name for everything you’re feeling.
RELATIONSHIPS & TRUST
When closeness comes with uncertainty.
You might be replaying conversations, holding back concerns, or finding it difficult to feel settled in a relationship. We can explore what you need and how you want to approach a difficult conversation or decision.
These are starting points for a conversation. Your experience may cross several of them, or begin somewhere else.
MEET ALEX
Hi, I’m Alex.
You can bring the parts
you usually keep to yourself.
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor working with adults and young adults. You might know exactly what’s bothering you, or only know that something needs attention. Either is a place to begin.
Our conversations can make room for the things you minimize, explain away, or have trouble saying out loud. We’ll pay attention to what’s happening in your relationships and daily life, what matters to you, and what you would like to be different.
More about my approach
My style is conversational, collaborative, and direct. I draw on a psychodynamic perspective and motivational interviewing: understanding how past experiences shape the present, while exploring your choices and priorities now.
Alongside counseling, I write, train, and coach helping professionals as a co-founder of AMIGA.
BETWEEN SESSIONS · VALUES CARD SORT
When important things
pull in different directions.
You might want connection and need more independence. The values card sort offers a way to notice what matters on both sides—and gather something to talk through.
Guest preview: no saving or sending. Refreshing clears your answers.
STARTING COUNSELING
You can start with
one thing that’s happening.
A recent conversation. A decision you’re avoiding. A feeling that has been hanging around. We can talk about what’s happening, how it’s affecting you, and what you hope might change.
